Exciting News For Your Summer Activities!

The summer holidays are almost upon us! As we all know, skills decline if they are not practised regularly and this is especially true of maths and English. During the long summer break, those children who do complete regular homework will not only maintain their skills but continue to develop them. This means that they will return to school in September feeling confident and ready to learn.

This summer we can offer an exciting new dimension to your child’s summer study. First Class Learning is working in partnership with EducationCity.com, a leading web-based teaching, learning and assessment resource. With its innovative and engaging activities, fully matched to the curriculum, EducationCity is widely used in schools.
Your child will have access to a wide range of learning games and exercises to support not just their maths and English but also science and modern languages. What’s more, this fantastic resource complements the structured and individualised programme that your child is already studying with First Class Learning.

To start using these materials speak to your First Class Learning manager about how to log on at EducationCity.com

North Finchley after 3 months!

Nafisa and Fahima Rahimi opened their centre at the end of January this year. At the end of their first term I asked them how they were getting on at the North Finchley First Class Learning Centre :

“We’ve had some amazing feedback! One student has already moved up half a level in her maths at school in a mere four weeks and her family is ecstatic as they said she has not had any positive attainment in the last year!

Another student told me last week that he was predicted a 4b in English, and is now a 5c! He was positively glowing! His teacher also noticed a marked improvement in his class work and asked whether he was studying extra hard at home. He told them about First Class Learning.

Another student also received positive feedback from school and his mother showed him some of the FCL materials. The teacher was very impressed and said that is exactly what students need!

Last but by no means least, another mother was very sceptical to begin with, now she’s constantly smiling like a Cheshire cat as her son has shown remarkable improvement at school.

So overall, we are progressing quite nicely and are very happy. After each session, Fahima and I are buzzing!”
