The Deputy Mayor of Redbridge Ruth Clark together with actress and singer Meera Syal MBE cut the tape for the opening of the Woodford Centre on Saturday.
The Woodford Centre has been open for several weeks now and with her growing numbers of maths and English students generating increasing enquiries Centre Manager Fay Chaudhry decided to host an open day.
“My son Shaan is one of Fay’s students”, said Meera during her opening speech, “and normally he can’t sit still for more than five minutes. With Fay he will sit for a full half an hour, do his work, and enjoys it.”
Fay Chaudhry, maths and English tutor at the Woodford First Class Learning Centre for maths and English tuition, is hosting an open day on Saturday 26th March from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
