The open day for the First Class Learning (FCL) Centre in Loughborough got off to a great start last Saturday at Gorse Covert Community Centre.
The centre was officially opened by the Deputy Mayor of Charnwood Councillor Roy Brown and Deputy Mayoress Mrs. Gillian Brown.
Parents and children attended the event to find out more and enrol onto the FCL Maths and English programmes.
Centre Manager, Pankaj Manek explained, “These fantastic FCL programmes are systematic, individualised, and most importantly meet the National Curriculum objectives. Furthermore, FCL helps develop good study habits and increases children’s confidence.”
The Deputy Mayor said, “I wish such study programmes were available when I was at school. It’s important for parents of Loughborough to give their children the best possible start in life.”
