Welcome to the Burnham on Sea First Class Learning Centre. We support children and adults in the local community with both maths and English tuition and follows the National Curriculum.

Students of all ages attend our study centre at The King Alfred School in Burnham and Highbridge. We cater for learners from Early Years and primary through to GCSE and adult students.

Our expert tutors support your child's learning in maths, English or both subjects together in order to help with their school studies, build confidence and develop independent learning skills.

Our English and maths programmes are tailored to learners' individual needs so students move on only when they are confident with a topic. At First Class Learning we believe in 1% steps to 100% success.

The First Class Learning Centre (FCL) Tutor will complete a free assessment which will determine your child's curriculum level and the features of FCL will be explained with any questions answered.

If all parties agree that FCL is right for you, your child can start attending classes and gaining the benefits of FCL study which involves regularly attendance at the centre.

Here they will complete a short piece of work which will be marked, returned and discussed with the Tutor. Your child will be given a detailed programme of homework to be completed before the next class.

If you think that FCL might be right for you please contact your local Centre Manager and arrange for a free assessment.  This will be carried out at your home at a time convenient to you and an individual programme of work for your child will be explained.

You will then be able to find out how your child can become one of the growing number in the UK enjoying success with First Class Learning.
