This helps to promote independent learning and study skills, so that your child gains the confidence to tackle new concepts and fill in any gaps in their knowledge and foundations.

Maths and English Tuition at Stratford

Welcome to the Stratford First Class Learning Centre. We support children and adults in the local community with maths, science and English tuition.

How we work

Our First Class Learning Centre Manager will call you to discuss how we can help your child with maths, English and/or science. They will then assist your child to complete an assessment to identify where they need help and determine which path is most suitable for them. Once we have established your child's needs, we will put together a bespoke course of action and programme that will support and encourage your child's learning. If you feel happy with our plan and that we are the best option for you and your child, they will then be able to start attending regular classes at the centre or online. In these classes the programme will be delivered to them by tutors, they will also receive daily homework (which will all be marked, returned and discussed with the Centre Manager).

Rima Pathak

Centre Manager

The First Class Learning centre is run by Rima Pathak. Rima has extensive experience in teaching and is fully trained and qualified to deliver the First Class Learning study programme. She has received great response and testimonials from parents, who have seen a significant change in the progress that their children have made after joining her centre. She also holds an enhanced DBS certificate, and manages tutors with excellent grades and teaching skills and experience. The centre is based in the heart of East London, Stratford, and caters to all age groups: from Early years and Primary (KS1 and KS2), through to secondary education (KS3 and GCSE).The centre is also Ofsted registered.

Maths

The First Class Learning maths programme is designed to equip your child with the fundamental skills required for success in school mathematics. Using a range of resources, it covers all the essential areas of the school curriculum.

English

Our English programme concentrates on reading, grammar, spelling, vocabulary, punctuation, creative writing and handwriting. The initial diagnostic testing assesses the child's needs so that we can provide an individualised programme.

Science

Our comprehensive science programme will develop your child's knowledge and the skills required as part of their school curriculum. The programme has a proven record for improving results and encourages enjoyment in learning.
