COVID-19 News - In line with recent measures this centre is temporarily closed for face-to-face visits. However, our centres are still supporting remote learning. Our individualised worksheet programmes can be sent to your home and your child assisted remotely as they progress, via our secure video platform.
Welcome to the Luton North First Class Learning Centre. We support children and adults in the local community with both maths and English tuition.
We are Ofsted Registered our reference number is RP556162 and so we are able to accept childcare vouchers or parents can claim Tax Credits for their child's tuition.
Students of all ages attend our study centre at Warden Hill Community Centre in LU3. We cater for learners from Early Years and primary through to GCSE and adult students.
Our expert Centre Managers support your child's learning in maths, English or both subjects together in order to help with their school studies, build confidence and develop independent learning skills.
Our maths and English programmes are tailored to learners' individual needs so students move on only when they are confident with a topic. At First Class Learning we believe in 1% steps to 100% success.
We also provide support and practice with applied maths topics, and where appropriate with school tests - KS1, KS2, KS4 (GCSE).
Due to the Coronavirus I am not able to open my centres; however I will continue to support my existing students and new students that would like support via Skype, post and whatsapp video. When we are given permission to re-open I will let you know. If you would like to discuss your child's needs please give me a ring on 01763 281 351 or via email.
Our First Class Learning Centre Manager will call you to discuss how we can help your child with maths or English. They will then assist your child to complete an assessment to determine which path is most suitable for them. Once we have established your child's needs, we will put together a bespoke course of action that will support and encourage your child's learning. If you feel happy with our plan and that we are the best option for you and your child, they will then be able to start attending regular classes at the centre or online. In these classes they will complete a short piece of work which will be marked, returned and discussed with the Centre Manager, who will give them a detailed programme of homework to be completed before the next class.
