Maths and English Tuition at South Croydon
Welcome to the South Croydon First Class Learning Centre. Rajesh Taneja has been providing after-school tuition since 2014. The centre supports children in the local community with the following subjects:

Students of all ages attend our study centre at South Croydon Sports Club in the CR2 area. We cater for learners from Early Years and primary school, to secondary school through to GCSE. At South Croydon First Class Learning Centre we believe in 1% steps to 100% success. The First Class Learning study materials are based on the National Curriculum and are pen and paper based. These help develop good study habits, encourage writing practice and provide a solid foundation for school exams, SATs, and 11-plus.
Our expert Centre Manager supports your child's learning in maths, English or a combination of subjects together in order to help children with their school studies, build confidence and develop independent learning skills. The Centre Manager customises each student’s learning plan to help students learn and master the skills through regular practice, guidance and encouragment. When the students demonstrate confidence and skill with a topic they move on to the next stage in their learning plan.
How we work
Please contact our Centre Manager, Rajesh Taneja, to discuss how we can help your child with Maths or English. He will then assist your child to complete an assessment to identify the key strengths of your child and identify gaps in the skills. Once he has established your child's needs, he will put together a bespoke course of action that will support and encourage your child's learning. If you feel happy with the plan and that we are the best option for you, your child will then be able to start attending regular classes at the centre. In these classes they will complete a short piece of work which will be marked and discussed with the Centre Manager, who will give them a detailed programme of homework to be completed before the next class. The homework is marked and the staff provide guidance to help the child learn and master the challenging concepts. Regular assessment checks that the work has been understood and that the focus is maintained on the key learning needs.
