Welcome to First Class Learning Bolton Central, where children learn to succeed. We are delighted to support children in the local community, of all ages and abilities, with both maths and English tuition.
Through our structured programmes, we personalise each child’s learning path, which is targeted to fill any existing gaps in their understanding and promote development of existing knowledge. This helps with their schoolwork, builds confidence, and develops independent learning skills.
Our maths and English programmes are flexible and tailored to learners' individual needs and abilities, so students move on only when they are confident with a topic. Regular testing ensures that the best possible progress is made. The 'little and often' approach, with plenty of repetition and practice, really does make a huge difference.
We also offer additional personalised packages for students taking entrance exams, SATs and GCSEs. These programmes include further revision, exercise on past and mock papers with support to develop exam technique and confidence.
How we work
Our First Class Learning Centre Manager, Daniel Ugboaja, will call you to discuss how we can help your child with maths, English and science. He will complete a free maths, English and science assessment with your child and provide informative feedback on their strengths and areas to improve. Once we have established your child’s needs, we will recommend a personalised learning programme that will meet your child’s needs thus enabling them to gain confidence and fill in any gaps that they may have. If you feel happy with our plans and that we are the best option for you and your child, they will then be able to start attending regular classes at the centre. Your child will then start completing the daily worksheets with ongoing support from the Centre Manager, Centre Representatives and teaching staff. Our powerful learning programmes are designed as a partnership between First Class Learning, your child and you as parents, so communication between all is important.
