COVID-19 News - In line with recent measures this centre is temporarily closed for face-to-face visits. However, our centres are still supporting remote learning. Our individualised worksheet programmes can be sent to your home and your child assisted remotely as they progress, via our secure video platform.
Welcome to the Chessington First Class Learning Centre. We support children in the local community with both maths and English tuition.
Rachita ensures that each student is provided with an individualised, structured study plan prepared keeping each child’s learning path, which is targeted to fill any existing gaps in their understanding. She works on 1:1 basis to make sure that the student is provided with enough practice and knowledge before they embark on their personalised study plan and can work independently. Regular assessments and detailed feedback ensure that the best possible progress is made.
We cater for learners from Early Years and Primary through to GCSE.
Our English and maths programmes are tailored to learners' individual needs so students move on only when they are confident with a topic.
First thing first, you need to arrange an appointment at your convenient time for your child to go through some initial assessments 'Diagnostic test’ 'for Maths, English or both. The Centre Manager, Rachita will then arrange a face-to-face appointment or a video call (based on COVID situations) where she will complete an assessment with your child. You will then be provided with a detailed feedback based on the Diagnostic test. You will also have an opportunity to discuss your areas of concern about your child. She will then put together a personalised plan to support and encourage your child's learning. Your Child will then be able to start attending regular classes on a weekly basis and complete the daily homework. Centre Manager will be available with any ongoing support whenever it is needed. Our Programme is a team work between First Class Learning, your child and you as a parent, therefore communication between all is important. We encourage all parents to mark the homework daily so that the corrections can be made and mistakes be learnt daily rather than being piled to be dealt later.
