How we work

The Centre Managers - Atourina and Stacey - complete a free maths and English assessment with your child and provide informative feedback on their strengths and areas to improve. They will also recommend a personalised learning programme to meet your child's needs. If you enrol, your child will attend the Chiswick tuition centre once a week. At the centre, your child will be supported as they work through their personalised learning programme. Between their weekly centre visit, they will also receive a programme of daily bite-size homework tasks to further embed and consolidate the learning from the centre.

Student Success

My twin boys, Ben and Luc started FCL in Chiswick about 2 years ago, maybe more. They are a credit to the teaching profession and both inspired my boys to reach excellent results in their IGCSEs. Heart and head combine in these two ladies to make them hugely effective and likeable. You would be hard pushed to find more committed, passionate and professional tutors.

Thanks for the guidance and support First Class Learning - Chiswick, being a summer baby I was so worried she might struggle at school but she is really thriving x

Atourina was recommended to me by a friend just six weeks before my son’s IGCSE exam… After a thorough assessment to discover the areas that needed a boost, followed by focused tuition, relevant homework…Felix achieved the grade he needed and he is now at Tiffin studying A levels. I would 100% recommend this exceptional teaching – and will be sending my daughter very soon!

FAQ

What type of tuition do you offer?
At our centre, we work with our students on a 1-2-1 basis. We will introduce their work, guide them through examples and ensure your child understands what to do before supporting them to practise with us at the centre. Whilst there will be other children attending the centre at the same time, we do work in small groups and each child works on their own own personalised learning programme.
Is there an hourly, weekly or monthly membership fee?
Our students pay a monthly membership fee to visit the centre one or more times a week. When your child enrols with us, there is a one-off enrolment fee (per child) at the start of their membership and a set monthly fee. The monthly fee varies according to the amount of time your child spends at the centre and number of subjects (maths and/or English) they are studying. We also offer discounts for siblings and number of subjects. Please call or email us to find out more about our fees.
