Maths and English Tuition at Harrow Town
Welcome to the Harrow Town First Class Learning Centre. We support children of all abilities to achieve skills to master both Maths and English. Students are encouraged to become independent and responsible learners, taking great pride in the work they do to achieve their level best in school.
Students of all ages attend our study centre at Harrow High School HA1. We cater for learners from Early Years and primary through to GCSE students learning Maths, English and Science. We follow the UK National Curriculum and support all National Exams ie. SATs, GCSEs.
Our expert Centre Managers support your child's learning in Maths, English or both subjects together in order to help with their school studies, build confidence and develop essential learning skills. Students are encouraged to become independent and responsible learners, taking great pride in the work they do to achieve their level best in school.
Our maths and English programmes are tailored to learners' individual needs so students move according to their ability in order to master the concept. At First Class Learning we believe in building a strong foundation to achieve 100% success.
How we work
Our First Class Learning Centre Manager will call you to discuss how we can help your child with maths or English. They will then assist your child to complete an assessment to determine which path is most suitable for them. Once we have established your child's needs, we will put together a bespoke course of action that will support and encourage your child's learning. If you feel happy with our plan and that we are the best option for you and your child, they will then be able to start attending regular classes at the centre. In these classes they will complete a short piece of work which will be marked, returned and discussed with the Centre Manager, who will give them a detailed programme of homework to be completed before the next class.
