Welcome to the St Johns Wood Tuition Centre delivering First Class Learning. The Centre is run by Raxita Kantaria and is her flagship Centre with another in Edgware.
Coronovirus (COVID-19) update: During this time, I am continuing to support all students using Zoom and Skype and the daily structured programme of worksheets are posted to you directly.THE CENTRE IS OPERATIONAL REMOTELY.
Students of all ages are provided with a structured and individualised daily plan of study of around 10-15 minutes per day. 1:1 support is given whenever it is needed by a video call or phone call and weekly results are collected to ensure mastery and fluency.
Raxita supports children of ages ranging from 3 years to 16 years old, from both state and independent sectors in maths and English. By building confidence she enables each child to realise their potential.
Raxita will meet with you(currently on Zoom) to discuss how she can help your child with maths and/or English. She will then sit down with your child and complete an assessment to determine which path is most suitable. Once Raxita has established your child’s needs, she will put together a bespoke course of action that will support and encourage your child’s learning. Your child can then start completing the daily worksheets with ongoing support from the Raxita whenever it is needed. Our programme is a partnership between Raxita, your child and you as parents so communication between all is important. We encourage all parents to mark the homework daily so that corrections can be made as they go through the week and their progress will be seen in the results. If they have any problems with the work, you can call your Raxita at anytime between 10:00 and 5:00, Monday to Friday. Students will be assessed continuously to ensure long term retention and ensure progress is not hindered. When at class, each week during class students complete a short piece of work which will be marked, reviewed and corrections done. The student will then be given homework to practice the skill set done at class to be completed over the following week.
