Welcome to the Rutherglen First Class Learning Centre! Using our brilliant resources and tutoring programmes, we personalise learning for each child, offering unique, individual-designed support to help every child reach their potential.
This learning is targeted to meet the objectives of the Curriculum for Excellence catering to all learners to fill any existing gaps in their understanding and promote development of existing knowledge. This helps with their schoolwork, builds confidence, and develops independent learning skills. Unlike other tutoring centres our main aim is not only to build skills but to teach students how to apply their knowledge to school learning and exam questions.
How we work
Every child who wants to join us completes a free assessment with the Centre Manager. We provide detailed feedback and create personalised maths, English and science learning programmes that target your child's individual learning needs. Unlike other tutoring centres we offer additional personalised packages for students completing their National 5s, Highers and Advanced Highers. These programmes include resources and support dedicated to exam-style questions and revision. Having experience of working with ASN children we offer a nurturing environment and support that enables all children to reach their full potential. We also have experience working with early learners, bolstering their confidence and preparing them for the first steps in their learning journey.
