COVID-19 News - In line with recent measures this centre is temporarily closed for face-to-face visits. However, our centres are still supporting remote learning. Our individualised worksheet programmes can be sent to your home and your child assisted remotely as they progress, via our secure video platform.
Welcome to the Watford First Class Learning Centre which is well established being the first centre to open in the Watford area. We support children in the local community with both maths, English, science and 11-plus tuition in preparation for the South West Consortium exams. We also support adults to improve in maths and English.
Students of all ages attend our study centre at Central Primary School in WD17 (opposite the Harlequin). We cater for learners from Early Years and primary through to GCSE and adult students.
Our expert Centre Managers support your child's learning in maths, English, science and 11 plus subjects together in order to help with their school studies and entrance exams. We aim to build confidence and develop independent learning skills.
Our maths, English and science programmes are tailored to learners' individual needs so students move on only when they are confident with a topic. At First Class Learning we believe in 1% steps to 100% success.
Our First Class Learning Centre Manager will discuss how we can help your child with maths, English, science or 11-plus and how our programme works. If you are happy with this, your child will then be booked for an initial assessment to be carried out at the centre to determine any gaps in knowledge and which path is most suitable for them. Once we have established your child's needs, we will put together a bespoke programme that will support and encourage your child's learning. Your child can then attend regular classes at the centre where they will be given classwork which will be marked and corrections are done in class. Homework will also be given to be completed before the next class.
